Should I? Cobb Stage 2 Sport + FMIC ST
So I have been running Cobb Stage 1 Aggressive + FMIC ST for a while. The car was fast, no faults. But this tune was erratic for me. Turbo surged when easing off the accelerator. Car felt like a bucking bronco.
So I tuned with the Cobb Stage 2 Sport + FMIC ST this weekend. All I have is an upgraded intake, FMIC, and Free flow exhaust. Well the car loves it. No more lift off surge, and no more bucking bronco. Its just a blast to drive again, and feels more like a finely tuned machine! I don't have any DP upgrades. I run 92-93 octane, and thought I would stick with the sport as Im not technically supposed to be running Stage 2. Opinions welcome. Car throws no errors/faults and seems happy

You should consider getting a ProTune from PTF. They will smooth your car out and really maximize your engine safely.

+1 for logs.
Even if you car is not throwing codes, that does not mean everything is fine.

Thanks guys. What's the protocol for logging. I can log with my AP. Can someone point me to some tips on:
1: What driving conditions to log, and for how long? 2: Recommendations for looking at my logs, as I'm a noob. Wedge says they would do it for $200, but would love for someone to look at them for free or for less.

The AP is defaulted to log the proper parameters.
1. Find a stretch of flat, straight road that is empty and at least a half mile long. 2. Make sure your AP is plugged in and go to "Monitoring" > "Data Logging" and select a gauge to have up. It doesn't matter which one and you probably shouldn't be looking at it for this next part anyways. 3. Put the car in 3rd gear at about 2000 rpm and hit the round button to begin the log. Wait a second while the AP starts to log. 4. Push the gas pedal full down without hitting the kickdown at the bottom if you are automatic. You will feel a resistance before the kickdown. 5. Pull all the way up to about 6500 rpm (over 100mph btw) and then let off and slow down to a safe speed. 6. Push the round button on the AP again to stop the logging. 7. Repeat for subsequent logs. After you get home plug your AP into your computer and download the logs. They will be CSV files. Go to datazap.me and create an account. Upload the logs to that and then post the links to the logs here.
