Installed euro intake box and check engine light came on
So today i changed to the euro intake box which im not impressed everyone says they loved it but it feels the same feel like i should of gone with injen or afe...anyways i drove around the block a couple times and after not feeling or hearing anything just decided to park home...3hours later get in my car to grab a bite and my check engine light is on...on ecs tuning which i baught it from said i didnt have to change my mad sensor...can anyone chime in on that?

check for correct install of maf and the wiring. Disconnect the negative battery terminal for about 40 minutes. Sometimes this can reset errors.

Normally the scanner they provide just reads "P" codes. I'd get it checked with a professional scanner that actually tells you which sensor is failing and decide from there to clear it or repair/replace said part. |

I had the same problem with my AFE intake. So it's gotta be the MAF.

Clean maf if you messed it up with maf cleaner spray. But do it once as a last resort
Check air pipe connections

Probably sorted itself out after adapting or clearing the error. Glad it is now sorted out. Enjoy the Euro airbox induction!

Maybe needs more time to adapt, or just a superficial improvement. Surely induction sound is a bit nicer at least?
