LV is my preferred choice for last 3 years. Where cheapest fir me and the M3 and they make an effort every year to keep me, which is pleasing for an Insurance company in today times!

No allegiance to them and does not stop me doing a nights worth of homework every year in October to sort out the best deal for ME!!

All mods, even the factory fitted ones, declared (And i have a Feck load of Mods!!)

Aviva for me last two years got a multicar policy by far the cheapest I could find was with admiral for years but they were very expensive for multicar and work out cheaper insuring separately and even comparison sites quoting £250 cheaper than my renewal, so phoned and they said can't help renewal is the price was with them 6 years so bye bye

Do you guys prefer to pay high premium with zero voluntary excess or you pay slightly less premium by adding voluntary excess.

For example, if I add £250 voluntary excess then my insurance goes down by £60.

What is general consensus on this?
I normally say 500

I'm just gonna have to try them all I've got till the end of the month.
it's just the hassle ringing around, should I declare every mod?

I would declare every mod - don't want to give them a reason to not pay out should anything happen, really not worth the risk.

I'm with elephant at the minute and cant complain, the customer service has been spot on so far and I'm paying 1K, which for a 20 year old in a 3 litre car isn't bad at all!

Adrian Flux said they didnt' want to insure me.... found it so so strange.

I'm with admiral on a Multicar Policy for many years now. NCB 2 years, 3 points and pay £1000 for a fully modified car in a fairly decent postcode too with a private parking off street.

If they are same, then out of my books. Too much of hassle doing all that.

Yeah they can be a pain. My mate was with them and they wanted a picture of odometer at the start of the policy and the end of the policy.

Their policy so similar to fitting a black box.
