help with dash

Hi all,

I bought a 2007 330d E90 yesterday but the dash has the exclamation mark in the pic below (its red not orange as shown here), the handbrake is off and the only other thing showing is the inspection with the code on the check system

can anyone decipher what is showing and why, or even what the red exclamation means

thanks in advance

yeh, or a broken pad wear sensor.

My brothers had that after we changed the pads and didnt have new sensors.

We cut the wire off the old sensor and soldered the ends together and plugged it back in, reset everything and it cleared it

had it in today to get it checked out and it was indeed the Brake wear indicator, all the brakes had been done recently and all the sensors had been broken, so had them all sorted .. cars running perfect and no dash warnings

now time to get it detailed then windows tinted

Generally people use the inspection sign for MOT, as it's a yearly countdown. There's no other yearly inspection you'd do.

If you mean the car lift symbol, its there due to the brake sensor issue.

They come on together!

Ah I see, it's just a 'take it to a garage' symbol.
