Oil question/Reviews
2006 325i.
Is this a good/correct product? I live in Louisiana and the weather here gets real hot. This will be my first oil change, I'm not sure what they used before. http://www.amazon.com/Castrol-06249-...9519068&sr=1-4 |

Oh, and may help you here. There's been just a few threads on the topic of oil and oil changes. Just a few. LOL

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

getbmwparts.com is an excellent site and packages oil change kits for every car shipped ground to your door. New BMW packaged oils are SOPUS products, previous was Castrol. You also could easily run LL01 rated oils such as Mobil1 0/40 from Wally world, grab a few filters from Amazon from Mann and call it a day. So many options. - b |
