Summer prep?

Hey guys, is there any thing you guys recommend for an N52 going into a most likely hotter and more humid southern summer? I was thinking of a coolant flush, but other than that I am not sure.

I just know my car is not a fan of near 100 degree days and was wondering if anything will make her life easier.

Thanks!

Depending when it was done last time obviously, but Engine/Transmission/differential/brakes oil change, I think that's a good start and also be a smart driver, don't punish your car when it's really hot and humid, not saying not to drive normally, but when the conditions are not ideal, in my case I think twice before flooring it untill 7000rpm.

Get your AC charge checked. Mine needed a 'recharge' whatever the hell that means - I assume same concept as a home AC unit. But yes, check that before you realize your AC is down in mid August.

If you have to recharge your refrigerant that means there is a leak somewhere. Re-charging is a temp solution, like adding more oil to an engine with a oil pan leak.

*shrugs*

I had no leak, I was told that the coolant gets absorbed into the block and is common. This was from a indie.

No mechanic here, just echoing what I was told. Fluid levels are still fine, this was last summer.
