Anyone Need To Replace Headlight Housing?
I'm in the DFW area and we've had some serious rain this week. Some water was somehow able to get into the headlight housing. There's a lot of condensation on the lens and the Xenon bulb went out.
The dealer in Fort Worth said they want close to $3,000 to replace the entire passenger headlight assembly which is nuts. No warning codes on the dash other than low beam out. I suspect I could replace only the bulb for $200, but that doesn't solve the issue of moisture getting into the headlight housing. Any suggestions on a good Indy mechanic to replace a headlight housing and bulb? |

I would contact Ultimate Bimmer Service. Also, have you checked the price at ECS Tuning? Depending the light, it's around $900 plus bulbs. You might be able to DIY.
