Oil in intake manifold
Hey guys i was replacing the starter in my 07 328i N51 which is a huge pain in the ass. When I took off my intake manifold I found that there was oil in it. Can anyone tell me what's causing that? Does it immediately need to be addressed? I read that it's probably my breather valve. Is the breather valve on the intake manifold or is it part of the cylinder head cover?

this is normal
that is why you have the collector hoses/breather in the manifold. Since you have things apart - maybe replace some of the hoses. This is especially nice to do because a lot of the oil collection system is in the Cylinder head cover for a 2007+ n52 unlike the 330i/325i n52
