Buyer beware: KPL or e90xIN52
Forum member "kpl" (now e90xIN52) has a few listings on e90post for OEM exterior components, etc. I bought a rear spoiler in BSM from him, paid by PayPal, and was given the run-around on tracking info. He told me the spoiler shipped, and 5 days later it still hadn't arrived. We're both in NJ so there's no reason for it to take 5 days. After asking 3-4 times for the tracking number, and not getting one, I opened a dispute in PayPal and got my money back.
However, another forum member wasn't lucky enough to receive his money back, he sent it as a gift, which has always been sketchy, but "kpl" showed no characteristics of being a typical scammer. Kpl never asked for the money to be sent as a gift, etc. So he was considered to be trust-able. He sent the SAME texts to me, and the other member who was scammed. Bottom line: I got my money back. Another member is out $165 for spacers that were never shipped. Who knows if anyone else is out money as well. Chime in if you are.

That's good to know! But not sure why someone would pay by gift through paypal. Also I think he has another FS thread up in this area. Maybe he'll tell his side of the issue.

I agree about gifting money, and the other member knows this as well. I just hate seeing fellow members taking advantage of other members. He has quite a few sales experiences, the EMail I sent money via PayPal to pops up on quite a few random BMW forums with things for sale, not necessarily current, but X5's, etc.
