Thanks!

I think your offsets for your rear AR-1's are +40 or +39. So 10 - 12mm should do it. As for brand, pick whatever you like, not much difference. The Eibach's come with bolts, the others don't.

I've been attempting to determine from the various threads what would be the best spacer width to put on my E90 330i/ZSP when it arrives, and I've seen several recommendations between 10mm and 20mm. Subsequently, I'm still not sure what would look best for a "stock" yet beefy rear end look (i.e. nothing too gawdy, or outside of flush with the rear fender well, but not tucked in as it is shipped), but I'm assuming it's somewhere between 10mm and 15mm.

I'm curious...I've seen posts where somebody inquires about spacers for a specific wheel and car combo, then somebody else responds with a specific size of spacer that is considered a "best" solution, as if there is some unwritten formula or rule...

Question: I understand the basics of wheel offsets, and "net" offsets, but what information are these "in-the-know" people using to determine what works "best" for a given car and/or look? Is there a website somewhere that discusses the in-and-outs of spacers and the results of same, or are they simply passing along recommendations that better suit their own needs and/or solution? If there's a good site that discusses the various spacings/offsets, and the resulting looks obtained, can you provide me with said link(s).

Thanks.

the bases from most that I have read on this forum, as well as to how we recommend certain sizes over others is based on getting the wheel flush with your other fender without it poking out. We recommend 12-15mm to those who are aggressive to 10mm for those who are looking for a great fit, but without any concern. The size of the spacer really depends on what each individual is looking for. If you plan to lower your e90, then taking a less aggressive spacer would be in order.
