I just got pushed off the damn road by some 70 year old lady driving in the middle of the road! Ended up only getting one inch rash but also have a couple spots on another wheel of coating peeling. Anyone recommend a good shop in the dedham/Norwood area?!?!

I think any rim repair shop should be ok. They all do it the same way afaik. The cost can get high depending on the wheel and finish.

fwiw with my old chrome 20s I was better off buying a new wheel. As after straightening and rechroming it was within 10% of a new wheel and a straighten or welded wheel will never be a strong as it is from the factory.

It had custom 2 tone tan and black leather interior(seats, doors, etc) to match the outside which was all silver & black, Eclipse GPS headunit, 3 amps one per sound stage, 10 aftermarket speakers, 1700w RMS 3400W peak. 50W HIDs top and bottom, custom headlights with angel eyes, cf eyelids, all the body work, cf hood shipped from japan, greddy catback, custom taillights with $200 worth of LEDs, etc. etc. I had like 4-5k in performance parts I was about to install into it and said fuck it and bought the E90. Best decision ever made. 4-5k in performance and I still would have been under 300whp. No thanks. Car only had 90k miles on it when I sold it. I still see it around the gardner MA area or on RT 2. It has different wheels now. Some lady in her mid 40s bought it.

I always assumed you would drop the wheel off. But it probably depends on what you are having done. If they have to refinish, like you mentioned the clear coat, I would think that would be long wait and would prefer you drop it off and come back. If just fixing a bend you can probably wait. From rim pro's website "Call us to book an appointment and when you arrive you will wait in our reception area (with Free WiFi) while we lift your vehicle, remove the wheels you want inspected, straighten them, re-mount and re-balance your tires with our high sensitivity balancing machines and re-install them to your vehcile all while you wait!"

I used rimpro last month. I dropped off a summer wheel while I had my winter wheels on so I didn't wait. They give 15% discounts to bmwcca members just FYI. They are a little pricey but they do the job right and you'll always see bmws in the parking lot . Plus they were really close to my work in Andover.

I just used Alloy Wheel Repair. They come to you and do it in a mobile truck. I had all of mine refinished and painted for $400. I didn't change the color and had them resprayed in satin black. Can't vouch for single wheel touch ups/ color matching though.
They didn't come out perfect, but only I notice the imperfections. But what do you want for $400 and not having to leave your house!

Hmm. Maybe I will give Alloy Wheel Repair a call. Two wheels no painting should be around 150. That's not bad.

I used alloy wheel specialist, they also came to me but I had a 2 piece rim that was very corroded off my e46, they charged me 600 because of how bad they were, which I understood. But the quality wasn't the greatest either, some minor issues on each wheel that I noticed that probably wasn't worth the 600 but again, the comfort of them doing all 4 rims within 3-4 hours was good especially them coming to you
