How to pull alignment pin?

I know there are threads on this normally, but my pin seems to be further recessed that what ive seen in other threads. There certainly isnt enough material to grab the pin with pliers. has anybody else seen this?

I was in that situation (wouldn't come out with pliers). I used a drill and appropriately sized drill bit to carefully drill out the pin.

It looks like it wasnt meant to come out with pliers, the only part that is coming out of the top hat is the domed part

The alignment pin is screwed in. Slot it with a dremel or hacksaw and use a screwdriver.

I had to drop the struts to get mine out. Took less than 20 minuts.

I've heard you can slot the top (with a dremel etc) and it will unscrew with a flathead... never done it myself tho

Mine were ultra tight. Even with the struts dropped they took a big vice gripe to release them. then they came out ith my fingers.
