Bike, Board, Kayak, etc. Mounts
Last week I saw Motor Trend mount some snowboards to the back glass of a Lambo of all things. So, for those of us that already or plan to mount bulky gear to the exterior of our cars (or other vehicles) take a look. I've got no connection to this company I just think it's a creative, easy way to haul stuff while keeping a clean, stock look between those occasions.
This post probably belongs in a more general E9X forum...oh well. |

I have a set of those for bikes. My bike never fell off the car in warmer weathers. But to be honest if you have roof rack mounting point or if there are roof racks for your vehicle, it is better off to use roof rack as they are more secure. Those suction cups do not work very well in cold climate so it will be more risky. I bought a set because my another car does not have any factory or aftermarket roof rack available without drilling through the roof. Plus suction cups will leave suction marks on cars. Not saying that they cannot be cleaned off the car, but just extra hassle while with roof rack, you can just take them off the car (you have to take both off the car anyways when you are not using them). Unless your car does not have roof rack available in the market, I would stay away from suction cups, especially in the winter.
