Tire recommendation for Apex 19x9 et35

I heard a good option is the Michelin PSS. The car is a 2011 335xi on stock suspension. This is a gift for my wife so any and all tire size/brand help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I'm running MPSS 265/30 R19 on my rear 9x19 ET39 OEM 313 rims. I couldn't be more happy. It's a really good performing tyre in both wet and dry.

But we are talking about a X-drive car, I beleive that having the same diameter in rear and front is important!
If you are planning on replacing the front tyres aswell, and the rim is 8" wide I would suggest MPSS 235/35 R19 for the front

Yes I was told to keep all 4 wheels and tires the same size for the xdrive. Thank you for the suggestion. I'm probably going to head in that direction

On 19x9 ET35, go with a 245/35 all the way around.
I'm running 245/35 up fron on a 19x9 ET35 (pre-LCI sedan).

Any narrower than a 245 you will have a stretch.

Stupid question here but what do the first and second set of numbers mean? Width/height?

Width in millimeters and ratio of width to sidewall. So a 245/35R19 tire means the tire is 245 mm wide, the sidewall is 35% of 245mm, and the rim opening is 19".
