Wheel hop w/ stock suspension?

So, I'm not the type to do burnouts or anything like that, but I do like the occasional quick start. Not side stepping the clutch or anything, but not so gentle either. From a stand still, it feels like the rear wheels hop. Is that normal? Also, on the 1-2 shift(quick hard shift) I get the same thing. Loud kind of clunk sound. Now maybe this is normal because there is no LSD, or maybe just because it isn't a race car...but it seems like it should be smoother. My 04 M3 that I just traded in, while built for a different purpose with different parts, just sucked it up and stayed nice and smooth.

Thoughts?

Thanks
John

The RFTs arent that sticky so traction is an issue here.

Even porches get wheel hop ... you can fix/improve this situation by stiffening the engine/transmission mounts. Unfortunately this makes the cabin vibrate more as there is no dampening between the components.

It's the lack of LSD.
