Help Needed with Spacers on E90

Hi Guys,
I have a 2006 330xi (E90) with Continental ContiProContact SSR Runflat tires. My tire specs are 225/45 R17 all round. The wheels are the stock 8 x 17 ones (Type 159). I want to put wheel spacers at the rear for a more aggressive look. However, I have no idea what size spacers and bolts I need. I do not want to change my wheels or tires, I just want to put spaces so that the rear tires give that wider look. I do not want there to be any rubbing of the rear tires against the fender.

Could anyone here please help me with deciding what size spacers and bolts I should purchase? I am a newbie to this and have no idea what I need to do.

Thank you for your help!

A 10-15mm spacer in the rear would do the trick. I have Macht Schnell spacers which come with extended lugs that I like a lot

I have the exact same car as you OP, (06 e90 330xi).
I use to have a set of 159`s with 235-45-17 tires on them, and I had 20mm spacers at the back and 10mm at the front with the stock suspension and had no rubbing at all. Front was perfect flush, the back I could still go wider but I never bother to get any bigger spacers.
Here`s a link from where I bought them.

Thank you for your help! You said you have 20mm spacers at the rear. Did the tire ever touch the fender when the car was loaded? I'm just thinking if I should put 15mm or 18mm at the back to be safe. Also, the link you sent me is very useful. I noticed that they sell the spacers with the longer wheel bolts as well. Is this all that I need in order to install the spacers on my stock setup or do I need to purchase anything else too?

Finally, how was the setup for you? Was there any vibration etc that you felt or noticed? Thanks so much!

You can go 20mm or bigger at the back without rubbing, I never had any rubbing whatsoever, don't forget that the xi sits a bit higher than the i, and the pre-lci e90 has more room than the lci. You don`t need to get anything else with those spacers, they already come with the extended bolts and they are really good for the price. I`ve never experienced any vibration with the spacers, I am still using them. Just make sure that they are flush when you install them and you should have any problems.
