Coming up on 100k miles!
So I currently have around 97k miles on my 2009 BMW 335d. Anyone out there have any major issues after hitting 100k miles? My CPO warranty ends at 100k miles.
Already had my 6 injectors replaced as well as the cylinder head at around 56k miles. I also had the Urea tank and pump swapped out as well. After that, no major issues. Reason I ask is because I am at the point where either I sell the car and get something else or keep it and take my chances. |

If that had happened now you would have mostly likely received the standard CBU cleaning. It is rare that injectors or the head need to be replaced, or even removed. BMW did not have a handle on the CBU problem early on.

If the dealer did the CBU cleaning, they never told me about it and it never showed up on the service invoice.
At 47k miles, they replaced the cylinder head and all 6 fuel injectors, maybe they did the CBU cleaning then. The injectors were replaced because 2 of them were leaking. They also replaced the fuel pressure sensor. After that, I had the SCR urea tank and pump replaced at 65k miles and the EGR valve replaced at 67k miles. At 69k miles they replaced the air mass sensor. At 87k miles replaced the active SCR fuel tank due to a recall. Since then, I had no issues with the car and no SES engine light. |
