carbon fiber hood

So I ordered a carbon fiber hood, siebon bm style. Anyhow how do you guys suggest installing it? I'm having a shop do it but they're not sure if they should use the stock prop lifts etc. How did you uys install yours???

Everything is a direct swap out. Some minor drilling might be needed to clear out holes for the hood shocks. Use double sided tape for the rubber gasket around the primary hinge as it will hang.

The only issue you will have it adjusting the two metal tabs (near the front bumper) on either side to ensure a proper and straight line against fenders vs. front bumper.

I haven't installed a CF hood, but I did do the trunk and the only other thing I would suggest is to swap out your gas struts that hold the hood up. The OEM ones will be too strong. I changed the ones on my trunk and it is much easier to close and I am not worried about the pressure of the OEM struts cracking the carbon fiber.
