V2.0.2 Boost Log showing spikes

Hey

I have upped the Torque figures to 92% now but im still getting a boost spike exactly as i change is this normal? Boost is up to 11.5 PSI then levels out to around 9.5 but as soon as i change gears it spikes up to like 15.5?

Anyone else seeing this is it normal?

Im pretty sure at gear shift its perfectly fine. Also when you open and close the throttle quickly. But let shiv chime in and confirm.

This is the normal boost spike every turbo car has when closing the throttle. The engine does not see this boost which is blown off from the diverter valves. This data does not show a relevant boost spike at all.

What has been the ambient temperature and what gas ( octane ) do you use ?

Mixing 95 RON with 105 RON so probably around 94-95 US octane. The tempreture was a little cool for sunny South africa around 71 but the boost seems low for 92% values dont you think?

Yep... no real boost spikes there. As others have said, the spike at the end is confined to the intercooler pipe and is caused by sudden throttle closure. Also, your boost pressure tapers off more than other logs we've seen posted due to your very high elevation (5500' above sea level). You can try to bump up user torque settings 2-3% and see what kind of boost pressure that gives you.

Yes. But you can log "Engine Load" as its proportional with boost. Just measured in different units (% vs PSI).
