That problem seems just visual. I don't think it'll cause any errors. Are you sure you're using halogen bulbs? There are h7 hid bulbs too. H7 halogens are shorter then hids and will have a little plastic tip at the end of the bulb.

Yes, they are halogen. I switched the bulbs yesterday and issue remains so yea I agree the problem should be just visual.

I just installed the Depos from fishcake and am pretty happy with them. My 07' 328i (late 2006 manufacture date) seems to be in the span of models that don't play well when it comes to tripping codes. The AEs are brighter than most headlights and are definitely a head turner. I am looking into the vista harness to kick the AE on as DRL but it still looks good on parking lights. I had them for a week before I was able to install them so I added some silicon sealant where it looked like there would be leakage (very few places where there were bubbles in the sealing process). Dropped in some new H/L beam bulbs and yellow fog lights and it looks good. Washed my car after and no fogging. Just a side note---I justified buying these because my passenger side turn-signal went out and was throwing an error-happy to report that there is no longer an error.
