Congrats to all involved! Glad you had a great time. It's nice to see the 335i times dropping across the board. Lots of 12s and now starting to see 11s!

Nice runs Gator.

FWIW guys, in rolling runs the manual cars do best against the auto cars when starting in 2nd gear.
In my experience from racing several of them, when we start in 2nd gear, they actually pull out in front by 1/2 to 3/4 car length right away and then I have to reel them in.
When starting in 1st the auto will jump 1/2-3/4 CL pretty quick but then once you hit 2nd the manual seems to pull most of that back, but then once you hit 3rd the auto will start to pull again.

So Gator, if you pulled 1+ CL on revah2 starting in second gear, with a 210 lbs passenger too, that would be like 2.5-3 CL without the passenger, and probably 4 CL's had you started in 1st gear at a slower speed.

Great times to run 12.8 @ 111 mph in 76 degree weather.

That would surely be 12.6's @ 112-113 if temps were in the 50's
That seems about right for a auto 335i with PROcede v2 as the only power mod.

Here's my time slip

The low trap speed was due to the car having a small stutter in third as it adapted to the 100 octane which had just been poured in.

Its been also submitted to dragtimes!

That's about what I figured. Thanks.

I wonder who won the race last night between the z06 and the modified M6 (exhaust, nitrous, drag radials).

We will never know!!!!

Congrats Gator!

Nice to see your runs but more importantly you had fun..... We are all pawns in the power mod wars....just enjoy your car mate.

Your Kung Fu is strong (and you can kick the crap out of this girl)

Trap speeds are impressive but wasnt the v1.47 running close to the same times?

Guess I was expecting more out of V2.2

Well im sure there will be V2.3 out next week. j/k!

No, in 76 degree heat like Gator had on his posted runs in this thread, most v1.47 trap speeds were in the 107-108 mph range. So his v2.02 run is about a 3 mph improvement.

In cooler air, with really low DA's most v1.47's were trapping in the 109-110 range.
But no doubt if he had cooler air on v2.02 he'd be in the 112-113 range, again a solid 3 mph improvement.

Oops, didnt mean trap speeds being the same as 1.47. I was commenting on the 1.47 hitting the 1/4 in almost the same times, as the 12.8 with most hitting 1.9 for their 60'

In otherwords this car is making crazy amount of power but having a hard time putting it down? I guess I dont really know how trap speeds can be so high when the 1/4 times are the same as 1.47. Not im not bashing, im really asking since I dont know.

In my case, the best 0-60 I could pull off was a 2.1. If I can get under 2.0 then my quarter time will be better, but its tough run flats and a 6 speed.

I will try soon enough again!

Thanks, but unfortunately, none of the M5's from M5Board.com Forum came...at least one guy said he would join us, but he was MIA???? It would've been nice to see the outcome between a stock E60 M5 and a PROcede v2.0.2 335i at the 1/4 mi. track; based on my brief experiences with a couple E60 M5's though, I'd say it would've been close (with me possibly edging him out at the 1/4 line). Now, if it were a 1/3 mi. or 1/2 mi. race, the M5 would probably pull, but those races aren't done on the drag strip.

Not at Moroso dude; with PROcede v1.45 back in June, I ran 13.097 sec. @ 106.67mph (with a similar 1.977 sec. 60ft.)...PROcede v2.0.2 has proven to be a significant increase in power (now trapping @ 110-111mph)!!!

Yeah, great traps for the M5s, but I bet not so good ETs due to poor traction and not-so-hot 60ft. times.

Forgot to mention that just for comparison purposes, a 300C SRT-8 w/ a "chip" ran 13.3x sec. at Moroso that night. The guy mentioned that prior to the "chip," he ran 13.6x sec. at Moroso before. Sorry, I didn't notice his trap speeds, but you can guess based on his ET that they were approx. 104mph.

Good to hear. I don't like SRT-8's.

If M5's are hitting 13's....they don't know how to drive!

I agree with Gator, his runs would be close to a stock M5.
