I-Drive Split Screen Question

Ok - I was playing around with the Nav and somehow I got into the split screen mode. How to I get back to the full display mode. Went thru the Manual last night and couldn't find the answer. I can turn off the split screen but I can't get a full screen display???? Th anks inadvance for the help

I was never able to get full display. Sorry im no help. If anyone knows how to get full display or maybe if you tell me how you got the split display on I could figure it out on my way home.

i don't think it's possible. the screen should definitely be worked on by BMW because this a very common request.

Do you mean, you were getting full screen display of navigation map & other menu options ????

Except the main menu screen, I never got full screen display. Its always split screen.

Please explain.

I think he means he got the nav to show in the Assist window as well. To turn off the nav in the assist window just move the controller to the right over into the assist window, when you are in the main window, and click.

I had a full screen display with no assist window until I press something and the assist window came up! I don't know what I pressed!

i dont htink that its possible. isnt the euro spec iDrive smaller than the US Screen(no assist window). this might be why we cant get the full screen to work becasue they are independant of each other maybe?.
