Need a little help,...

Installed the software following the guide and purchased a cable, this one...

I can connect to the car, and I get both black circles filled in. However, when I try to read the Airbag (as per the instructions), I get an error "Data transmission to control unit disturbed"

I am wondering if there is a problem with my cable, as I found it impossible to get drivers to properly install (Win 8.1 64). However does the fact I get two black circles suggest there is no issue with my cable and connection? In which case what else may be the cause?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance...

Open up NCS Expert, load your profile, F1, F3, pick chassis, pick ecu (CAS) and see if your VIN and VO come up. If they do you should be able to code.

What is the production month and year of your car?

Thanks for the responses. I'll try with NCS Expert tomorrow morning and update the thread. Production month is 07/2008.

You have wrong cable (yours work with e9x till 02/2008), it won't work with your car. PM if you need a good cable, I will show you where you can buy it.
