New TDI oil
Has anyone used this oil ? Supposedly it was developed for Audi TDI engines. It seems very promising, it helps protect against fuel back wash. Thoughts

Audi guys love the biosyn. The weight is fine, actually it's what I would recommend on this motor, especially in a climate like Texas.
I have no personal experience with it but it is well-regarded on BITOG for whatever that is worth. Clean oil is what matters more than anything. So long as the weight isn't wayyyy out of whack, change it every 3K miles and you're doing your motor a favor.

Yeah I've searched extensively. There is a longer discussion on Audi forums and another Bob the oil guy thread. I wanted input from any local forum members of first hand experience as I believe this oil is highly beneficial to our platform.

If you're just gonna change it out every 5k, or something silly like that though, then don't waste your money. Just buy T6, as mentioned, instead. |
