Front end links that last longer than 10k miles??

I have tried oem, Meyle HD (which LOOK beefy, but don't last any longer) as well as the cheapies, and about the most I have gotten is around 15,000 miles.

Any out there that actually last. I know they aren't expensive, but when they start to clunk it's annoying as hell.

Thanks.

Have you tried Megan Racing? When I did my REARS, I know they were pretty popular.

Are you sure you're installing them correctly? My Meyle HD links would clunk too even after tightening, etc. It wasn't until I loosened them completely, put the weight of the car on the suspension, then tightened them down again did they stop clunking...basically I followed the same process as required when installing/tightening control arms, etc.

+1. The rubber bushing will be sitting twisted at normal ride height, if they are tightened at full extension of the suspension. This can cause early wear.

it should not matter on these link whether suspension is loaded or not. it's only a ball stud.

that is just the dust booth. there isn't any rubber on the links.

Have you looked into Moog? K75003 and 02 - I threw them in along with my bilstein struts over the weekend. I've used Moog endlinks in the past with my other cars and I'd recommend them - no long term impressions yet obviously for the set I threw on the 335, but I suggest you read into them and see if you want to give them a shot.

How low are you that you or how are you using your car that you are having these problems? Both my 335s were lowered for way more than 15 k miles with no issues.

Is the talk about sway bar links? I had thought it was about control arm links, my mistake.

You are right sway bar links are just ball joints wouldn't matter.
