Did you install wheel spacers? Post pics here please...

Ok...as an afterthought I realized this most likely should have been posted in the wheels forum...

__________________________________________________
Hi all...

I'm trying to decide which thickness of spacer to put on the rear of my car (330i/ZSP), and while I've seen some pics here and there, and have read some discussions on the subject, most are scattered about, and therefore, not easily followed. I think it would be much easier if we could gather before and/or after pics en masse so others like myself could better see what the differences are, and compare the various thicknesses more quickly (vs finding various threads, viewing scattered pics, going back and forth, collecting pics offsite, sorting through thumbnails, etc.).

So, if possible, could you post before and after pics for comparison, tell us what wheels you have, thickness of your spacers, tire specs, and disclose original and net offsets, or anything those of you in-the-know think is important to know?

Thanks.

Fletch!

probably ET37 + 10mm = 27. I think the tire is a bit small for that 8.5" wheel and looks like 225/40/19 to me. I would put 235/40/19 instead.

Ok, during my reading on this an other boards, people keep referring to a "calculator" some are using to determine if a certain wheel/tire/spacer combos will work with certain vehicles, etc. Each time they refer to the calculator "at the top of the page", but I've yet to see any calculator, or a link to said calculator. If there's a calculator that will help somebody like myself figure out what effect certain combos will have, can you please send me the link?

Thanks.

The tire is 235/35/R19, which is the correct size for a 19x8.5 rim on an E90. If you go bigger it throws off your speedometer and odometer.

Its 15mm RE spacers. You could go 18mm and the rear would fit perfect, but it would look right with the front. Then you would need spacers for the front, which I want to stay away from.
