LCI Brake Light Retrofit on a 2010 E92
I've done some searching, but a lot of the threads are old.
What is the consensus best place to get OEM LCI tail lights for the e92? I saw some for around $650 with plug and play wiring harness. 1) Best price for OEM LCI Tail Lights? 2) Do you still have the coding issue? 3) I have a 2010 built in August 2009, do I need that separate part? 4) Do the lights flicker for the first 20 seconds without coding, but otherwise fine? Thanks. |

The question is, do I need coding and FRM3 with this kit? I have no idea if I have FRM3 or not. Genuine BMW E92/93 LCI Coupe and Convertible LED Taillight Kit OEM BMW E92/93 LCI Coupe and Convertible LED Taillight Kit (including M3s). Kit includes inner and outter, left and right tail light assemblies (4 pieces total), retrofit wiring harness, and optional Footwell Module 3. *For E92/93 3 Series vehicles produced from 3/2007 - 9/2009, the Footwell Module must be replaced for proper functionality. If the FRM has previously been replaced with an FRM3, it does not need to be replaced. **Recommended installation time is 0.75 hrs. - NOT including coding, without FRM replacement. Installation time is 1.5 - 1.75 hrs - NOT including coding, with FRM replacement. Typical coding time is 0.5 hrs. |

in regards to price it was a swap, so not comparable. But I would have bought them from Tischer, since that is pretty much the best price ive seen $590 not bad |

Code is required. I have 08 E92 running LCI.
Just have to get harness to install. You will get side blinker errors. Just have to code those two out.(left blinker, right blinker). No error code or flicker after coding. |
