I have only put about 8K on these Stage 1's. I had them installed in August at an awesome luxury sport car shop who have two BMW master technicians who put them on. They are awesome turbos if replacing stockers. I just plan on going single turbo or stage 2+. The total cost for these WITH upgraded thrust and Billet upgrade was just over 3K. I am letting them go for 2K. I have actually babied the car and I could count on both hands the amount of times I have even taken these above 10PSI. They have a ton of life left in them and will be a great upgrade for those who are wanting to get rid of their stock ones. I can even send you a picture of the receipt from Vargas.

it's there....honestly it doesn't bother me at all. Kind of makes the sound of the car more unique to me. Someone thought my car has the Wasegate dumped to atmosphere. And I loved that sound on my RX8...

yea not like the stock ones though....to me it's really not a big deal. I had a wastegate dumped to atmosphere that was WAAAY louder on a previous car....

RB's are 1200 more (cost $4,100) RB's if you can afford 4100 Id go with that ....I am at 465 whp with an E85 tune....I want something to get me to 600 Stage 1's are good to about 500whp...with upgraded inlets

wastegates rattle?! That's kind of crazy and sort of unacceptable after only 8K miles.

Stage 2+ doesnt have WG rattle to my knowlege no one has said they experiance it even slightly. hmmm

If the Vargas billet wastegates rattle on your car, your tune is setup incorrectly or you REALLY want instant response, which would go against what your saying about babying them.

But more importantly if you understand what causes rattle you'd know that one they start rattling its going to get worse and worse by its very nature. The rattle is caused by play that will only get worse by the action of rattling....

It's not common for Vargas turbos to have wastegate rattle. Also keep in mind he ma not have wastegate rattle, It could be Lifter tick which can sound similar. OP when do they rattle?
