Components to replace Alpine front end
Looking at upgrading the Alpines, what is available and which are good value.
Don't want to spend stupid money and don't mind 2nd hand.

From Alpine, assuming you don't want to go Logic7 (not sure on what else it requires) would be a Gladen upgrade. Replace the subs, mids and tweeters along with a Gladen amp. Fairly solid setup for the money it seems. Doesn't seem to be anything between the Alpine and Gladen prices.

Have you considered changing the Subs to L7's? This give the Alpine a HUGE boost, and is easy to do and relatively cheap if you pick up a set of pre-owned L7 Subs.

The under seat subs are being used and powered by a Kenwood amp. The same amp also powers the Alpines and a Phoenix Gold 8.0.1 is running a sealed 12" MB Quart sub in the boot.
Not sure if replacing them will show much benefit. The door speakers Im hoping will though.
