Coil?

Fine tuning an E85 map on version 8. Was having a misfire wot on cylinder 6. Changed plugs and switched coils to see if misfire would follow. Started car and it's misfiring on idle and sounds like it's really struggling. I am thinking coil was not reinstalled properly. Any thoughts?

Pull the coils off and make sure they're seated properly. What plugs are you using?

Did you get any other codes besides the cylinder 6 misfire, and what cylinder was missing when you started it and said it ran poorly after the new plugs?

It misfired on cylinder 6 a few times under WOT. After plugs and coil swap the car would barely run. Guy was telling me the piston may need to be replaced! I was so pissed as the car was running great aside from aggressive WOT pulls causing a misfire. Turns out the mechanic didn't connect coil fully! I got my car out of that place asap.

Same here but I managed to buy a metric socket set, Allen keys, extension and 12 point spark plug tool and that's pretty much all you need.

It will save u a hassle down the line especially if ur tuned. Misfires will be easy to fix without going to a shop. Also checking your sparks is a good way to see if your injectors are leaking as it will smell of fuel. Last time I changed my plugs I noticed oil on one so I quickly brought it to the dealer and they replaced my valve cover and gasket
