Requested Control Unit not found
Hi everyone,
I am sorry for posting this here but I have ran out of options and I was hoping that maybe someone might be able to help me. I have a european MCS 2008 and I am having an issue with INPA reading the N14 ECU. When I choose the engine I receive the message attached. Requested control unit: 'MED17_2' not found Control unit found: 'MED17_2N'. Program will be stopped. I have updated my datens to 55.4 using BMW coding tool. The software works flawlessly on my E92 and I am successful in coding both cars. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks for your help.

Try this:
In your e90.eng and e90.ger files, find the line of the existing module, should be something like this Entry= MED17_2, xxxxxxxx, where xxxxx just is the text displayed, add a new line right under where it says Entry= MED17_2N, xxxxxxxx, worked for me when INPA requested frm_87 and I had frm_70 (NFRM) on my car, also added FLA_65 in INPA this way. |

You could also be missing the correct .ipo file for that ecu. Seems to be a common issue.
Daten doesnt update .ipo files in INPA, it mostly updates ncs and winfkp, correct me if I'm wrong. |
