DCT M3 paddles are definitely a good upgrade. Good luck with the sale.

Any 1 know if i could swap this out on my car with steptronic paddles (the newer ones, left = down shift, right = up shift)

Have my eye on some paddles to swap (only compatible with the DCT paddle base)

I recently did the paddle swap to M3 paddles. I think only the pre lci paddles are a direct swap over, lci i think you have to do something with the wiring from memory?? Someone correct me if im misinformed

Pre LCI DCT paddles are a direct replacement.

LCI DCT paddles requires modifications of the wiring harness to work.

Thought i had read that somewhere...

Always found it strange that a swap from the paddles that are +&- to these is easier than swapping out the newer ones that work exactly the same.

Is the swap hard? (ie, would a half wit like myself be able to achieve it)

DSHMA : Sorry to seem like im hijacking this, but i am interested in the steering wheel!

BMOEW: sorry mate, not willing to post overseas atm.

Pyro330d: you need to add resistors on the M3 DCT paddles in order to work if you have LCI paddles, see the links below

Something to do with the early paddles only run 2 wires and later paddles run 3. Its fairly easy, just be careful undoing some of the plugs, and disconnect battery otherwise you might have an airbag explode in your face lol
