Hole in my xpipe

Hey guys,

Recently, I've been noticing more and more lag at WOT, now mirroring a big turbo supra with the power kicking in around 3.5k. Months ago, one of my mechanics had pointed out that I have a corroding xpipe but at the time I hadn't given it much thought. Is that even a common thing among our cars? I don't think I've ever come across a thread about it.

Now that my spool is becoming nearly non existent below 3K, even with brake boost, I was curious if this is possibly the culprit? I also checked my vacuum lines and one seems like it's fraying a bit at the end but nothing that I can imagine would cause that amount of lag.

If you guys have any input I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Unless its corroded internally and creating resistance to the exhaust flow (not likely) then this wouldnt make any sense. Check vacuum lines, boost solenoids, wastegate rattle, ect
