Yes, it is possible.

Take a look at that clean engine. Valve cover is off because it cracked before 48k and I am replacing it.

Possible? I guess anything is possible, but why would u put yourself through the hassle?

Getting the rear turbo inlet to stay on can be quite a chore.

I bet having the valve cover off makes it easier to get an arm down to the rear turbo.

I probably wasn't real clear in my post. I was really just showing all of the room that the Z4 has for this mod. I am certain that I can do this from the top.

With all of the room (especially for the rear inlet) you could make you own inlets that keep the stock filter location for probably under $150 and a Saturday.
