I think you mean the carbon delete correct? You just cut out the carbon impregnated filter downstream of your regular air filter. You don't delete your intake, car will run like crap if you do.

Think he's talking about the silencer that is part of the duct running from the mas to the engine intake manifold

If that is the case, just do the silicone intake hose mod and get rid of the OEM duct all together.

They used to be fs in classifieds or eBay and there is a thread showing the install in this NA section

I did it before I got my AFe intake. Wasnt hard. I didnt even use my machine shop..

Required Items:
Hack Saw
Rubber Stopper from Ace Hardware (I forget the size)
Silicone Glue

Did I notice a difference? A little.. It resonated a little more around 3100RPM. Otherwise, nothing major.

I did charcoal delete several years before this. I cut it out with a box cutter, sanded, cleaned with ISO, installed K&N filter... Acceleration seemed "smoother" i guess... or it was just my young, naive mind

Did the Rev Motoring silicone hose delete, I feels a little better, and revs quicker. Probably worth 2-5hp at most. (similar to the gains on the E46)
