New to Cobb tuning. Help!
So I'm new to Cobb tuning and quite frankly new to tuning period. I got a couple of questions before I install V3.
1. I have PPK. How do I save the tune and uninstall it before installing the Cobb? If I uninstall Cobb V3, I would like to go back to the PPK. 2. I have BMS dp fix. Do I need to remove this before installing the Cobb V3? 3. I'm FBO and need help choosing a stage 2 map. For instance, what's the difference between I8A02 stage 2, IF80S stage 2, or IJC02 stage 2? 4. How do you actually get the map and download it to the Accessport?

2. take out the DP fix. it can cause fuel trim issues if you leave it in. only install it when you're doing state inspections 3. cobb will recognize what software version your car has, don't worry about the different stage 2 maps...once you plug it in, it will only allow you to flash your current software version's appropriate map 4. you use cobb's accessport manager, although you shouldn't have to download a map to the AP initially. it comes with all maps already downloaded to the unit |

You can take a copy of your stock ROM off the AP and save on your laptop, etc for safe keeping. There is a menu on the AP itself that you have to choose to tell it to unhide the stock ROM then you can retrieve a copy using AP manager. This could be helpful if your AP ever died or got lost/stolen.

I took the bms dp fix off. Then installed the v3. Install was a breeze. Although I thought my battery was going to die because I forgot to turn my drl's off. I went a little conservative with the stage 1 Cobb fmic aggressive. I must say the power is awesome. No codes or misfires so far. I drove about 35mi. I'm going to walnut blast this weekend and change spark plugs. Then try a stage 2 map. Then Dyno and Protune coming soon.
