Interpreting /reading datalogs - how does this look?
first time logging parameters, i've been browsing around trying to get a sense of norms but would love your guys input on how things look.
also, i assume there's tons of these threads -- so if there's a sticky or FAQ that's helpful to read/a more appropriate section to post -- please point me in the right direction. http://datazap.me/u/dbchun/test-run-1?log=0&data=4-6-21 specs:

slight timing corrections on cyl 4,5,6. maybe add in a little e85 to fix that. IAT are getting up there so consider a FMIC. Otherwise, looks ok. LPFP sensor might be messed up but idk. Any 29F3 codes?
Also, do a pull from 3k rpms to 7k and relog. |

yeah, i just pulled the codes and see that "29F3: Fuel pressure sensor, electrical" is there
thanks for the tip, i'll re-log again tonight once the outside temps get a bit cooler also realized this run was done with traction control on, definitely want to re-log now

LPFP looks to be faulty since it is stuck at the same value across the board.
Timing is pretty low, which indicates it has pulled quite a bit of timing due to either fuel or air temp related values. Also, log 'Rail Pressure' - this is you HPFP. It will tell you if it is getting strained by the LPFP. If it's less than 1500, you have an issue on the LPFP side. Get an I/C if you can, your call will appreciate it and the tune will be more effective. Last edited by n54door; 07-14-2015 at 04:15 PM.. |
