Bmw auc and tyre brands

Hi, would it affect the auc warranty if i put pirelli runflats size 255 35 19 on rears instead of the bridgestone 255 30 19 which are oem recommended?

Tyre brand wont matter, the size however could potentially be an issue. Its unlikely ofcourse, but if you had some drivetrain issue they could try to use the different tyre size and resulting alteration to the vehicles gearing and whatnot as a get-out-of-jail-free card.

Makes sense, wanted to put 35 profile to close the gap a bit and more cushinoning to avoida cracked rims

Why not ask them? If they say yes, you know you can do it without issue. If not, then you need to decide if you want to take the risk.

Or switch to non-runflat in the OEM size which will also give the wheels less hard a time.

If you intend changing tyre size make sure you advise / consult your insurance company first, as they may bump up your premium or even decline to cover you due to 'modifications' - it's not that long ago that they were trying to impose a premium for using winter tyres!
