2008 e92 335xi Alpine White
Hey Guys, Some of this stuff is pretty basic knowledge for most of you. Mostly it is copy and pasted from my Craigslist and AutoTrader ad. Enjoy! Trying to sell my BMW. Loved this car just feel like its time to move on. Last week I got a new windshield, new battery, and installed a new set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports. My local mechanic also checked through everything else engine wise and thought it looked great and driving great. Currently its at 76500 miles (may go up slightly) Car also has been modified with: -BMS Dual Cone Intake -VRSF Catless Down Pipes -ER Black Charge Pipe w/ Tial BOV -JB4 PNP Tune w/ Latest Software + Backend Flash -BMS Cowl Filters -Performance Rear Spoiler -M-Tech Front Bumper -5% Window Tint -VMR V718 18x8.5 & 18x9.5 wheels w/ Michelin Pilot Super Sports (brand new) - Gloss Black Kidney Grills -Lux h8 160W Led Angel Eye Bulbs -Spare set of Beyern Mesh 17x8 wheels with semi worn tires on them -Alpina Transmission Flash and Coding. -KW v1 Coilovers I have quite a few of the stock parts if any of the mods are cause for concern. Car is making close to 350awhp and with the upgraded suspension and tires handles like a dream. Also put in new Ignition Coils and Spark plugs under 500 miles ago on top of the new tires, windshield, and battery. Car is in wonderful shape. Only issue is that the car endured some rocks last winter and has some chips on the front bumper and hood. Please feel free to contact me for more information. Would love to find this car a great new home. Make me an offer! -Robert Last edited by pr0gress; 07-15-2015 at 01:25 PM.. Reason: Updated information |

Update:
Windshield replaced, new pilot super sports put on. Talking to a (reputable) friend who might repaint the front bumper for an insanely good price. Battery replaced and new head gasket. Everything else with the engine is OK, checked by my trusted Indy shop. Someone shoot me an offer! |

Car is an automatic with paddle shifters. There are some Good threads on here about it but the main thing is it improves shift logic for faster shifts and it always shows what gear the car is in instead of showing D and DS.

How does this compare to the Steptronic? I have only driven 6MT and SMG cars. I hated the SMG with a passion which is where my hesitation comes from.

I like it more than the way it was stock (since this is a steptronic automatic). D mode shifts really early and by 40mph you are in 6th. Which it seems some people do not like. Personally I prefer it, if I'm feeling more aggressive I can go into sport mode or shift myself. It is noticeably faster than stock though. I noticed a difference immediately after flashing.
If you don't like it though I will also be providing the INPA cable to flash things like the transmission and any other coding. Also have the Bavarian technic cable for any flash tuning. |
