DRL issue? or am I that dumb?

So, if it's supposed to be like this I don't know why I have never noticed until now but...

Are the tail lights supposed to be on as DRLs in addition to the Angel Eyes?

Right now mine are regardless of what position the light switch is at. When the switch is off the Angel Eyes are on as expected but so are my tail lights but I swear I never noticed this before.

Is this normal?

Yes they are. My tails are always on since we can't turn off DRL (angels) in Canada.

With DRL's on, the coupe's tail lights come on too. There's a couple other threads on this around here somewhere.

Garage List
In japan, the angeleyes and led rods in the e90 are always on from the momeny you open the car doors (proximity lighting). it looks quite a bit cooler than the US e90s.

You may be crazy in other ways, I do not know for sure, but in this case, you are correct and sane. The tail lights are on in US coupes with DRL on
