Steering question - 318d LCI E91
Apologies if this has been asked before but couldn't find by searching on here..
My father has just bought a 318d lci E91 tourer OEM RFT. Test drive was fine although the steering felt heavy at parking speeds and lightened up once on the move but felt nice and accurate. Now i thought all lci small engined 3s had EPS? and to my surprise there was a green labeled CHF tank next to the coolant tank which i thought was only for HYD steering cars? I haven't got the chassis number yet to check on Real OEM but any help would be appreciated.

For 2010/2011 some, perhaps all, 320D had hydraulic power-assisted steering. I'm guessing the 318D was the same. The 335s, both petrol and diesel, were also hydraulic. The rest were electric. I've no idea for other years.
