Is it worth getting a full exhaust on 330d or just a back box?

I want to upgrade to a 335 style back box.
Is it worth going for a DPF back system or just the back box? The car is a remapped 330d LCI; I'm doing it for looks rather than sound. If there's a performance gain that would be nice. |

every little helps!
That said, a lot depends on the DPF. If your leaving it stock then its a little pointless replacing the whole exhaust for performance reasons, the DPF is far more restrictive than the remainder of the system, so just save yourself a bit of money and just do the backbox. If you've removed DPF, then it makes sense to bin off the whole of the stock system and just replace the lot for something more "performancey" |

The DPF is still in place so a back box sounds like the best option. |
