Random P30FF with Logs

2008 N54 E92, 100k miles, owned since 17k, 5" VRSF VMIC, Synapse BOV/CP, Cobb AP STG1 FMIC + Map Aggressive with 93 oct, AFE Pro Dry DCI.

Getting ready to ad DPs.

Maintenance: Plugs 10k miles ago, just replaced all vac lines with silicone except rear turbo line (none were rotted), PS Fluid. Getting ready to do trans and diff. OFHG replaced around 80k, along with 6 injectors under recall.

Prior to modding the car started randomly throwing 30ff about a year ago. I recently added the FMIC, CP, and intake about two weeks ago. I have traced it to when moderately accelerating right as boost builds. To when you really hammer it, but not consistently.

In manual mode it seems not to do it unless you're hammered all out near the rev line. Each limp mode p30ff occurs right before I end each log.

Please take a look at the logs I have taken over the past day, would like to resolve this issue before installing my DPs. Does this on stock/base maps as well. Could it be boost solenoids?

Sounds like it could be vacuum related if you've ruled out boost leaks.

Start by replacing that rear WG vacuum line, and then do a vacuum test (DIY on N54Tech) and see if the solenoids are doing their job. That rear line could be the culprit though.

Also try to get a simple beginning of 3rd into 4th gear log. Hold 4th gear for a couple thousand RPM then stop the log recording.

Will try to give that a shot here soon. I can WOT in 3rd-4th and not have the error happen at all. But the most common error is the lower rpm right past 2k rpm moderate acceleration as boost builds up and holds.

I am not sure if this is correct, but pulled the vac line off the canister and plug individually into vac gauge, at idle 18 inches. Rev up to 4k it would drop to about 7.

Try to duplicate the problem, but try to keep your logs short. The ones I clicked on above are huge and very difficult to pinpoint a specific problem.

Finally replaced that rear hose might have been it. So far on first drive to attempt to go limp it's not going into limp mode. When the rain stops I'll run some logs.

Did a quick log after replacing the rear hose and reinstalling the cp at the throttle body with a new clamp. Taking the car in to a professional today to have him go through the car. Still getting the 30ff.
