Oil Sensor ALWAY MAX

Hi,

So I found out there was a oil gasket leak near the engine. I figure that since there was oil spotting the oil level should go down. I realized since the day I got the car the oil has always been at MAX. I read up on the forum and this seem to happen often.... SO I replace the sensor and now its still at MAX ....after only 5L of oil was in the engine. What could be the problem????

PLEASE HELP.

CAR: N54 2010 N54
