Q regarding Long Beach Bmw
Hello peeps!
New member here been lurking for awhile, but now in the market. From my searching so far, the best I have come up with was 1500-2000k under msrp to 1000-1400 under invoice from various dealers for a 335 2dr. Anyways I see alot of you have purchased from Will Shaw at long beach. From what Ive read so far it seems this site has some sort of forum pricing with this dealer. Is it a set discount? PS Any long beach customers care to share (thru Pm if you want)...No offence to Long beach bmw ![]() Thanks |

I've just recently picked up my 328i E93 from Will. I'll post a more detailed review in his thread later, once a couple of final details get worked out.
But to the OP's questions: My price from Will for my particular configuration was the best in SoCal. Not an awesome price, relative to MSRP, but still better than (or as good as) anyone else. Add to that his excellent customer service, and the fact that he is a forum sponsor (meaning that he gets partial credit for making the killer content on this forum possible), and my decision was a no-brainer. Don't take my word for it. Get multiple quotes (I did), including one from Will, and make your own decision. Just keep in mind that your purchase decision is not only about price: Dealer proximity and customer service (among other criteria) should also play a part. Good luck.

I got 1k off of MSRP, which was still 3k over invoice... but then again, that could have been because I ordered practically every option LOL...

If you are ordering, you may have a tough time getting a decent discount. If you are buying off the lot, there is the ability to negotiate.

I'm still waiting for my free mats, since they were out when I picked up the car. According to some recent posts on Will's thread, I'm not the only one in this situation and should be receiving them shortly. My purchase was a custom order, not a purchase off the lot, so the flexibility in pricing from anyone was virtually nil. I recently purchased and installed the OEM alarm (see the alarm DIY for a separate post about that experience - all good), and Will got me a set fee from the SA for $128 to activate. A little higher than some other's experience, but at least I know what it will be without any haggling on my part. Once I take the car back in for activation, and receive my mats, I think I'll be in a position to post an unqualified positive post for my experience with Will and LB BMW. Hope that helps. Oh yeah - I also attempted to get price quotes through the Costco and AAA buying programs. None of them were competitive, although the Costco program got me a great price a couple of years ago for my new (at the time) 2004 Lexus RX330.

LOL it's all good. I knew what you meant, but $1k-1.4K over invoice is an excellent price for a coupe.
