New DME

Backstory: I'm FBO running E50 with VTT2+ turbos/Inlets/N20 Sensor. Last week my DME went out and was replaced under a warranty. I went from IA80S to IJE0S. I'm flash only (cobb) and my protune is for IA80S.

My question is, since I've been unable to get a hold of my tuner to have him transfer my tune from IA80S to IJE0S for the past 4 days and I doubt the dealership will let me keep the loaner much longer, can I just run the Cobb E30 map until I hear from my tuner. I know I'll get CELs due to the TMAP sensor but I was wondering if I could actually drive it like that or if it'd cause substantial damage.

Thanks for any inputs.

If you're running the N20, the car won't run with the stock flash. You'll need to put the stock tmap sensor back in the car so you can drive it. You can run the E30 map if you have e85 in the tank, but I wouldn't get too aggressive with it as a higher ethanol content will cause fueling issues.

If you need assistance, feel free to PM me. I'm out of town with work, but will check the forum a few times per day.
