Where's all the PSS?

I keep reading about shortages. Where are they? Did the Michelin man eat the factory? Seriously, does anyone know why they haven't made or shipped any? When they'll be available?

Backorders in the tire industry are pretty common. Despite the crystal balls that tire companies use, issues still occur often times through no fault of their own due to supply chain disruptions.

What specific size are you trying to find?

Thx. I was just worried they may have cancelled the model. I go through tires every 4 months. I have 275/30-19 now. But I'm hoping to upgrade before these die to larger stickier extreme summer like RE-11. How would RE-11 compare to a PSS or pilot sport cup? I'm in Florida so I don't need to worry about cold but I do need to worry about rain, noise, harshness, and wear

RE-11 which are being replaced by RE-71's are track tires not. They will pick up a lot of garbage and if driving hard rocks will impregnate into them. They dont last very long on the street.

Re-71 are really good but again hard to come about right now.. i almost ordered a set from tire rack but decided to wait since I'm in canada and our exchange rate sucks right now. also you will have to go up a sidewall ratio for the rear because they only make 275/35/19 right now for the re71r... another option is hank rs3... those I've heard are amazing.

+1

RE71R is more sticky than PSS and even RE11.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like they make my size. 275/30-19. Would the 275/35-19 be to big? I also want to upgrade to 305/25-19 soon.

275/30-19 is on nationwide back order with no anticipated production date. I just upgraded my wheels with this size for the rear, and it is pretty upsetting! I went with 265/30-19 because I'd rather have that than any other tire, and it still fits/looks fine.
