MODS....

I have a 07 335i with 9k miles. I am now ready to start moding it. What are some of the free things and the basic things that you guys would suggest? I am also not to sure what this JB2 software is.. I'm assuming its a flash on the ECM with different type resistors for different boost levels? What is the cost of the software and maybe the avg. cost of intake systems? Thank you guys in advance. Any information is much appreciated.

piggy-back + exhaust.

procede, jb2, xede, turbo tuner, etc... are all 'piggy-back' units which means the 'tap' into the wires of your stock ecu (except for the turbo tuners, which taps into your tmap sensor i believe).

A quick forum search will give you alot more information on any particular one of those products.

im guessing you want to start out with performance mods and then cosmetic mods (if you plan on even doing any)?

just like deck said, take a search at one of the many piggybacks available and see which one you would like to go with. the most famous one that almost every thread in this section is about is the procede followed by another that delivers similar power to the 1.47 version of procede called the JB2 (juicebox).
