What is a good stage 2 turbo upgrade

Looking to upgrade my twins but Im interested if there are any other routes to go thru besides Rb or Vargas? We really dont have a huge choice of easily accesible stage 2 turbo upgrades for this car

There are a couple other companies. Hexion I think is the name of one of them. You might be able to find more info at n54

I'd just stick to RB's. That's my plan. They're good, proven turbos with good support and great results.

OP, the words "what's the best", and "what are good" are always subjective. No clean cut answer. Do some research

RB are the most popular / proven
Hexon is getting very popular lately and i have seen some good numbers from them.
Vargas is another good option.

You should absolutely wait for Pure. One main advantage is that they do all of their own machine work in house unlike the others that are mentioned.

I'm looking forward to seeing their offerings. Looks like they've done great work on the N55 and S55 for sure

agree.
We sell a lot of their N55 tunes and all we get is positive feedback.
I saw their S55 kit doing pulls at Bimmerferst last year and that thing pulls like a train

Wow didn't know Pure was coming out with an N54 kit! That is gonna be amazing! Great news for the N54 community, especially if it's priced like the N55's. Very reasonable pricing.

I expect it to be closer to s55 prices(4-5k). It's a twin set up double the work of the N55s

But still reasonable for what you get. I wonder if they're doing a stg1/stg2 like the N55...

Yeah I think it's a fair price for the quality of products they produce. The couple times I've spoken to them about this(stage1-stage2) they have no interest in making a stage 1 set up. I just can't wait for the release as they are suppose to have fixes that have plagued many other aftermarket hybrid turbos for the n54s(smoke, rattle, durability).
