If its an oil line gasket why don't you just replace it? Gasket would be a cheap to replace.

Hey mate,

BatMoWheel is a definite no go, IIRC the gains were not only zero but the turbochargers were a little lazy to spool too.

I am all for using local resources when it comes to the rebuilding of hardware or the fabrication of something from scratch, but I would be very cautious in increasing the size of the turbo compressor wheel above OEM specs.

GCG actually did a 15T wheel upgrade for a Sydney based N54 owner a while back and the results were less than satisfactory...

Without a properly matched turbine wheel to suit the increase in airflow the larger comp' wheel is capable of moving, you can end up with a situation where the turbos make no additional power up top, are slower to spool and worse yet are prone to compressor surge.

I know a guy who knows a guy (sounds dodgy I know, lol) that has a lot of knowledge with regards the rebuilding of MHI turbochargers, whilst he is a small operator he knows his stuff as he has been around forever, but he might be somewhat more cost effective than ATP, GCG and the like.
